Niall Matter has two older brothers and a younger sister. At 13, he was approached by a local drama instructor and it was the beginning of his career. While doing his graduation, he won the award of ‘Best Male Actor’ for his performance as Gruocho Marx in ‘A Night in Ukraine’. He moved to Vancouver after graduation, to attend film school. In 2006, he got his acting break in the sci-fi movie ‘Beyond Loch Ness’. His TV appearances include ‘The Best Years’, ‘Stargate: Atlantis’, ‘Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief’, ‘Eureka’ and ‘Mistresses’.
