Eureka’s ‘Cerra’ will portray ‘Hera’

Best known as “Deputy Jo Lupo” of Syfy TV show ‘Eureka’, ‘Erica Cerra’ is not left behind in the long list of fans of Harry Potter and is very much inspired by the wizard boy. That’s why she is going to play an identical role of ‘Hera’, a goddess of marriage and wife of Zeus in the movie ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’. Telling her true feelings for the fictional character, Harry Potter she said, “I’m a big Harry Potter fan…I have all the books. I’ve seen all the movies a billion and one times. When I heard what Percy Jackson was about I read it and pushed, pushed, pushed to be in the movie.”
Talking about this glamour girl, you would be surprised to know that she started coming in front of camera at the age of 8 years only. As a child she appeared in numerous business advertisements. At the age of twenty two, she re-started her career with a bang after taking a break for some years from reel life. In 2005, Vancouver Lifestyle magazine recognized her as one of the five hottest new actresses.
Erica Cerra looked very excited about her new role of ‘Hera’ and said, “I was absolutely thrilled when I got a role, and then I was sitting in a room with Sean Bean and Kevin McKidd and Melina Kanakaredes, who plays Athena. It was a wonderful experience, and I’m a very big fan of Chris Columbus, so that was really cool as well. In the novels, in the other stories, Hera and Zeus show up to help Percy, so hopefully they will also in the [sequel] scripts”.
We all know that she is getting new roles because of her marvelous acting skills shown in “Eureka” and this show’s latest episode “You Don’t Know Jack” was aired on 28th august, 2009, in which, the town people exhibit lacunar amnesia and the company is cleaned sonically. The next episode “Have an Ice Day” is ready to be broadcasted on 11th September, 2009. Ya, that’s very innovative heading for an episode.
