Season 3
Season three of the series was premiered on 29 July 2008. The first episode of the series was named ‘Bad to the Drone’. The season opens with the citizens of Eureka discovering that DOD has sent a corporate fixer, whose main aim is to restore more Fortune 500 companies than anyone else, to town during an Anti-Missile test that sees the target drone named Martha threatening Eureka. In the next episode of the series Carter and Allison must investigate in order to find a scientist who has mysteriously disappeared from within a sealed biosphere. On the other hand, the corporate fixer tries its level best in order to get more and more profits to Eureka. In the next episode of the series, Eureka is busy preparing for the robotic dog show and the android canines are out in force. But when Eureka feels abrupt and strange earthquakes shake, its time for them to prepare themselves for something unexpected. This incident creates problem for Sheriff Jack Carter, who ends up with a pure-bred disaster on his hands. The next episode opens with Allison and Stark’s wedding day. On their wedding day Sheriff Carter finds himself in a strange problem, when he is stuck in a time loop and is experiencing the same day again and again. In the meantime, Sheriff Carter’s sister, Lexi, visits him in Eureka and Eureka must deal with the loss of a great mind. In the next episode of the series, Sheriff Carter ends up hurting his hand while opening an ancient Egyptian tomb. The moment he and his team opens the tomb, they are attacked by a swarm of ancient bugs. The bugs use humans as hosts to dehydrate and eventually kill them. Now that bugs are all over the town, will sheriff and Global Dynamics be able to contain it or will Eureka fall victim of a 3000 year old plague? In the next episode of the series, the members of Eureka must deal with this mysterious “superhero”, who can walk through walls and fly.
Eureka must stop him before he creates commotion in town. In the next episode of the series, Eureka is busy preparing for the Election Day. It’s Election Day in Eureka and no one in town is interested in voting, especially after town is threatened by an artificial sun that terrorizes to go supernova. In the next episode of the series, everyone is surprised when a doomsday weapon built in the abandoned military complex is discovered. On the other hand Zoey’s life is in danger.
